This Week’s Loveliness

Well there has certainly been some loveliness this week.

First of all, my daddy wrote me a letter! He never usually writes letters but I got one :-D It was so lovely and came at a perfect time cos I needed cheering up.

Secondly, did I tell you I won a prize on a blog giveaway? Well, it arrived! It’s a skein of Tilli Tomas yarn that is 100% silk, lime green and is threaded with cute little turquoise sequins…wanna see?

I know, the photo is awful (took it on my phone and had shaky hands!) but you get the idea :)

The next bit of loveliness is the great response I had from my previous post on M.E. awareness day, thank you to all those who read it and sent me wonderful feedback about it :)

Also, today my lovely boy brought me back a cupcake…it was chocolate cake with mint frosting, yum! I should have taken a picture but I was in a hurry to eat it! (It was delicious).

Next we have…ta da!

Cupcake-printed doilies! And guess what? They are going to be added tot he prize fund of the competition as I have had over 15 comments now. Get more people to comment and enter the competition so that even more goodies will be added!

Project Loveliness: Phase 2

Well, do you remember Project Loveliness? I posted about it here. I sent out my letters and had a wonderful response from each of them…they seemed to really make the day of the people who I sent them to…so the loveliness has been spread around a bit.

So the next phase is going to be: Pay It Forward

Yep, there is a film about this called Pay It Forward (starring Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt and Haley Joel Osment) but that’s not where i got it from ;)

Basically, all you have to do is something kind and wonderful for someone (or three people) then, instead of them paying you back for it they ‘pay it forward’ to one (or three) people. This means that there is an ongoing, forward chain of kind and lovely deeds that will spread and spread.

The kind deed doesn’t have to be expensive or a big deal…it could be as simple as giving someone something that they need/want…like maybe a cup of coffee or a chocolate bar!

You must tell them to pay it forward (PIF) when they try to repay your kindness though…if someone owes you one for something, tell them to pass that forward too…it all works.

I wont be able to keep a record  of this as I wont have any idea if people will pay it forward or, if they do, who they pay it forward to or if it keeps on going…but I like to think that it will :)

If you’d like to join in with Project Loveliness then please do and let me know how it goes for you!

If even a handful of people do this phase of the project then a lot of loveliness will be spread around.

Lots of Love,

Project Loveliness

Well, I mentioned a project that I would be doing in a previous post so I thought I would tell you all about it, start it and see if any of you would like to join in!

My idea is to spread loveliness to the people who matter to you. I’m sure, like me, you don’t tell the people you care about often enough that they mean so much to you…so, I thought I’d have a go at fixing that.

All you need to do is pick three people who mean a lot to you and write them each a letter telling them exactly that! It doesn’t have to be anything fancy…but it should come from the heart.

This is phase 1 of Project Loveliness…stay tuned for phase 2! And please leave a comment and let me know if you ae joining in…and do let me know how you get on, I’d love to hear all about it.

Of course, I will be keeping you all posted about how mine goes as well.

Lots of Love,
