Well there has certainly been some loveliness this week.
First of all, my daddy wrote me a letter! He never usually writes letters but I got one 😀 It was so lovely and came at a perfect time cos I needed cheering up.
Secondly, did I tell you I won a prize on a blog giveaway? Well, it arrived! It’s a skein of Tilli Tomas yarn that is 100% silk, lime green and is threaded with cute little turquoise sequins…wanna see?
I know, the photo is awful (took it on my phone and had shaky hands!) but you get the idea 🙂
The next bit of loveliness is the great response I had from my previous post on M.E. awareness day, thank you to all those who read it and sent me wonderful feedback about it 🙂
Also, today my lovely boy brought me back a cupcake…it was chocolate cake with mint frosting, yum! I should have taken a picture but I was in a hurry to eat it! (It was delicious).
Next we have…ta da!
Cupcake-printed doilies! And guess what? They are going to be added tot he prize fund of the competition as I have had over 15 comments now. Get more people to comment and enter the competition so that even more goodies will be added!
Click on the picture and it’ll take you to the ‘She Likes Cute’ shop where you can buy these cute little cookie soft toys…and many other things of cuteness. Check out the link on the side for the ‘She Likes Cute’ blog which, of course, has yet more cute and lovely things.
Love Ele ~X~
P.S. My boy has a blog…he’d like you to go and visit it…it isn’t exactly lovely though…I have warned you 🙂
I went to visit my boy on the weekend and, as usual, we had a lovely time so I thought I’d show you a few photos of the loveliness that we went and looked at.
I'm good at wonky photos...
Thats the Cathedral…we didn’t go there this time but you can see it from everywhere. And here’s a duck…
a rather lovely duck
I do like ducks 🙂 There were lots of them quacking around. Isn’t the water lovely and clear too? I wanted to jump in but wasn’t allowed.
...got an itch...
This little guy is a coot (yes, he really is…not a moorhen…I’ve looked him up!). I was very impressed by the size of his feet. He’s only a baby and had a sweet little chirp. He kept trying to eat all kinds of bits of twigs and weeds from the river.
happy, happy sheep
Well now, look at those guys 🙂 We saw a lot of sheep. Unfortunatly, the llama was hiding on that day. I was satisfied with seeing the sheep though…they do make me chuckle.
oh, please let me jump in!
The river is pretty…as I wasn’t allowed to jump in I looked out for fish instead, there were lots!
a pretty pink flower i saw in the park
It was a beautiful sunny day as well which just helped with the loveliness 🙂 Talking to ducks and giggling at sheep is one of my favourite ways to spend a Sunday.
Planning and planning and planning is fun…especially when it’s for the future and the planning is with my boy!
Cant wait to see him on Wednesday 😀
So…my topic shall be…hugs 🙂
There are so many different kinds of hug…friendly ones, comforting ones, soft ones, squidgy ones, strong ones, quick ones, ones that you never want to end. All most lovely of course…which is why they are here!
